INGL 3345 seeks to introduce students to a variety of theoretical approaches useful for the critical analysis of the Star Wars Saga. The course will devote attention to viewing these films closely, and researching their production and reception. Furthermore, this course prepares students for leadership roles in the classroom as well as in the real world.
All of the films, documentaries, readings and other class materials raise important questions about the process of creating modern myth and notions of leadership, community and life long learning.
This course stresses critical thinking, viewing and writing skills.
